Qualifications

Some of my relevant qualifications and experience include:

1. 1989-2005: Aikido and Kempo (goshin-jutsu). During this time I also trained in:
   • 1995: NY Yagyukai (gaiden kata) in Port Washington
   • 2000: Daito-ryū (seminars – ikkajo and nikajo curriculum) in NYC and Long Island
2. 2004-2008: Gao Lineage Bagua, Silver Spring, MD.
3. 2006-2007: 200 hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, Midtown Yoga, Baltimore.
4. 2005-2015: Capital Katori, Silver Spring MD:
   • mokuroku license awarded in 2010
5. 2005-present: Yin Cheng Gong Fa North America.
   • Lineal student ceremony (baishi) under Zhang Yun laoshi in 2015, Princeton, NJ.
6. 2008-2016: Hōbyōkan Kashima-shinden Jikishinkage-ryū, Rockville, MD:
   • shoden license awarded in 2016.
   • chuden license awarded in 2018.
7. 2011: Attended Kalachakra, Washington, DC.
8. 2015-2018: Additional Yagyu Shinkage-ryū (honden kata) training.
9. 2024-2025: Training in the union of Hatha Yoga and Vajrayana Buddhism.
