For bodhisattvas who see selflessness, all phenomena – what is cut, the cutter, the time of the cutting, the method of the cutting, and so on – are seen to be like a reflection. Therefore, they have patience. [9th Karmapa]
Welcome to Inner Dharma, an activity focused on the positive development of body, mind and spirit through the cultivation of wisdom, knowledge and skillfull means/methods associated to traditional mindfulness practices including Yoga, Taijiquan (tai chi), and classical swordsmanship.
This website started life as a blog; over time I have reworked its content into a smaller number of longer essays. Also available are a curated list of reference material and links to schools and teachers I recommend. Photos of some of my travels and events I have participated in can be found on the site galleries, while some of my landscape and travel photography can be found at the sister site Inner Capture.
I continue to train and mentor small groups in the Pacific Northwest.
