Yuèshān-guan [月山館; "Moon Mountain Hall", also Gassankan] is a private training activity lead by Mark Raugas near Seattle that is centered around the development of skill at traditional approaches to internal martial arts. I chose the name 月山館 in homage to Gassan Dai Jinja on Mt. Haguro, which is historically associated to the practice of Shugendō — making pilgrimage to Dewa Sanzan was a pivotal moment in my martial arts career.
