Second head of the Shigakukan and first to bear the myōseki “Shunzō” (春蔵) — the founder Naoyoshi’s disciple and adopted son. He moved the dōjō to Tsukiji Asari-gashi (築地蜊河岸). The succession then passed to his own son, Naoo.
